This .45 caliber pistol is the John Wayne Standard. It was issued in 1982, and it is said that 3,100 of these were made. On the left side, it features a gold etched American Eagle holding a banner with the inscription "John Wayne." On the right side, there is an engraving of an American scroll. It has Ivory handles, and the backstrap shows a gold etched John Wayne signature and the Red River "D" from the movie "Red River."
